Eric DaVanté Toliver is a multi-dimensional force of nature. As a Black neurodivergent creative in multiple avenues, he is a writer, producer, actor, entrepreneur, author, educator, poet, director, and an advocate and voice for Black mental health, the arts, and the millennial generation.

He was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri where his love and passion for the creative arts began and flourished at Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts. As a first-generation trailblazer, he successfully completed his college journey as the first person on both sides of his family earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre & Cinema from Missouri Western State University (MoWest). During his tenure at MoWest, he joined a number of prestigious organizations such as NAACP, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity, and the National Society of Leadership and Success.

He is the CEO/Founder of Eric Toliver Studios, a creative media production collective which is home to the Black Renaissance Network (named after his favorite historical and cultural period - the Harlem Renaissance) and the Wilma Hunt Foundation (named after his late great-grandmother).

Eric brings faith, fire, and truth-telling into every room he enters. He is continuously humbled and honored to share God’s Word and his story.
